Gecko Teams Running Scholarships

Nelson Mandela said "running taught me valuable lessons...I could compensate for a lack of natural aptitude with diligence and discipline and i applied that to everything i did."

This scholarship will teach you how to use a running track to improve your life. Anyone wanting to translate the discipline and diligence gained on the track and apply it to their everyday life should apply today.

The scholarship includes over £500 worth of coaching, running shoes and kits. This includes coached track training sessions three times a week from May to July with races scheduled every saturday night.in June and July. The training sessions will take place at 7am at either the Knightswood or Maryhill Running Tracks, with races starting at 6pm every saturday.

The concept will be to create two teams - one in Knightswood, the other in Maryhill. We currently have the resources to support 10 scholars.
