Glasgow City Council have advised that there is a delay in processing DHP requests.
They have asked people to refrain from contacting them regarding all DHP Under Occupancy applications from 01/04/24 and any DHP awards relating to UC Under Occupancy due to a rent increase for 2024/25.
Once DWP have updated the customer’s Housing Element, Glasgow City Council will receive notification of the increase, then we will amend the DHP award accordingly.
Due to the volume of applications and resources at this time of year, Glasgow City Council are working their way through the applications however this will take time for them to process.
All awards will be backdated accordingly.
